NGC - Coin of the Day: For Mint Error Monday, here is an 1863 Civil War Token with a Full Brockage Error. This happens when a coin remains between the dies even as a new planchet is positioned for striking. The new planchet will get the proper design on one side of the coin (from the die) as well as a mirror image of the design on the other side (from the previous coin).
