To CCF , Black beauty's only refer to Jefferson nickels . Those Lincoln cents are just circulated and toned brown from the environment they were kept in . The 1943-S is a steel cent plated with Zinc .

Finding them to be sure is to look in OBW rolls. Circulated coins are so often tampered with.

Looks promising. But it can't just be burnt or stained. It has to be part of the metal from the start. I also like the 1918 post mark and stamps in the background of original post.

. I can't see anything in your pics other than the dates on your Lincoln Cents, but there are NUMEROUS re-punched mint marks (known as an RPM) for the 1945-S, 1951-S and 1953-S Lincolns. If you so desire, look closely at the mint mark to see if by chance you may have one. I do not believe there are any very valuable ones for these years (I may be mistaken) but they are neat and fun to find. It will definitely keep you busy for awhile if you do see you have an RPM. There are tons of them listed on Variety Vista for these years. Here's a link to that website you can copy and paste into your browser.
