I can't tell anything about the columns from your pics. Too blurry and a lot of glare. Maybe the glare is throwing you off and that is making the columns appear bigger. I personally don't see anything out of the norm on the reverse of your coin. Come to think about it, I can't remember the last time I saw MD on the columns of the Memorial on a Lincoln Cent (not saying it can't happen). MD, more times than not in my observations, typically affects the outer devices although I have seen MD present on the corners of the Memorial in the past. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/16/2021 12:43 pm With the consistence of the glare on that area, they are probably seeing Machine Doubling on those devices. When the contour is removed, the MD leaves that area flat and reflective. So he see the MD that is is flat, while we are seeing the flare from the lighting. That is probably what he is seeing?
