Found a nice big die crack on this1994 p quarter. What exactly is this type of error called?

I think these are called Retained Cuds or pre Cud, I can't quite remember. Have not researched Cuds enough personally. Someone will confirm though.

Upon further inspection I found another die crack on the lower right part of the reverse as well. Would this be considered a shattered die? And there is some nice doubling on the arrow feathers and leaves too!

I'd call it a retained Die Cud. Note how the design edges are not normal alignment. I would think a modest premium for this one. Because of the coin wear, it would be a lot more in BU. Still a keeper.

Got a few minutes to look up pre Cud and Retained Cud and I agree with Retained Cud, now I'll have to look into broken dies
