Lost out on this one last night. Beat my max by $10. It was the most that I have ever bid on a coin. Edited by Jerry Picker 02/08/2022 09:33 am

it sure is pretty. Sometimes that last $10 is too much. I hope you have better luck next time.

Beautiful coin. Unfortunately, you'll never know how high he was willing to go.

What is the grade on coin? What did it sell for?

@Slider23---Not graded. I put it at AU58, I think the 2 marks on the reverse rim would keep it from Unc. Hammer price $2060.

A beautiful example and it looks like it could be RB. My only concern would be the rim gouge by the A in America could details the coin. It looks the new owner made a nice purchase for the hammer price.

Always frustrating, but there will be another. It is a very nice example though.

It's so hard to find a nice Classic Head cent. Which is why they cost what they do. Good luck in your hunt!

Nice price for a stunning coin. Nice classic heads are far and few between.
