1972 Lincoln Cent- Unsure If Damage Is Post-Mint Or Not

Looks like it was brushed with a paintbrush, Or writing your name in wet cement. The "Ty" in liberty are almost wiped clean.

I know the coin is in rough shape. So I'd just like to know if the damage is done while it was mint or after. Thanks y'all.

Definitely post mint damage, it is just scraped and gouged up.
