Since some numismatists enjoy a bit of philately, I decided to go ahead and share a set of Connecticut Tercentenary collectibles that don't often get the spotlight.

Presented here is a set of 12 post cards, plus distribution envelope, that were an official souvenir of the Nutmeg State's 300th anniversary. The sets sold for $0.25 per pack (the price included all 12 cards!).

They were issued by the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution and feature images of "historic buildings and scenes and personages in the state's three centuries of growth." (Connecticut Tercentenary Bulletin, No. 12; August 26, 1935.)

(Note: Many of the images on the original post cards are a bit "soft" or fuzzy - I've done what I could to reproduce them faithfully.)
