Needs the whipping part for sure, not sure what the act of "snapping" involves, other than snapping fingers, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't phase her lil stubborn, hard headed, disrespectful rear end! She may be staying the weekend with her cousin, not certain, but I'll get everything laid back out over the weekend and get some pics! And yes, she had almost everything laid out, ready for pics , when she decided to start acting out, which is when I put everything back in each package and hid from her, with the threat of returning everything! Actually told her I already shipped em back, but she knew better! However, if she thinks I won't return, she's dead wrong! That's the last thing I want to happen, but if she tries calling my bluff.... well I'll email each of you the tracking number!

I haven't let her see what @SaturnD51's package had inside, however, I opened it and wow, she's only gonna have maybe 5 empty slots in her wheat album empty, after inserting what was sent!! I'm jealous, most of the wheaties you so generously gifted, are absent from my own album!!
She started calming down yesterday though and I was gonna let her see what Saturn sent this evening, but as stated earlier, she may not be home tonight!
She gets the stubborn part honest, of course, not from me, I'm sure its my brother, her dad!
Thanks again everyone, yall are great, and her coins are one of the very few things, that after threatening to take from her, actually catches her attention, and doesn't get a response like "so, I don't care"!! And I'm even more grateful for that part!! Because this lil "whipper snapper" knows how to push my buttons! These next ten years will likely have me on some type of medication for my nerves!! But we still love her to death!! If my account goes silent for any considerable amount of time, hopefully it's not from being arrested for child abuse!!
I'm just being messy, that was a joke, but man, I have to just walk away sometimes, to keep from getting a belt or a switch and leaving some red marks on her lil smart hind end, like my parents would've left on mine!!

Colin , I have to laugh my butt off . When you first posted that you were looking for places to get wheat cents for your 11 year old niece , I said to myself Oh this darling little girl , I should help her out by sending her a bunch of Wheaties an some old nickels in case she has never seen them before . Then a lot of members stepped up and also sent the sweet little girl all kinds of coins ! Who new that she would scratch your eyes out if you looked at her the wrong way .

She is a bit mature beyond her years, maybe "salty" at times, packs one heck of a right cross, but can be a lil sweetheart as well! While being stubborn as a mule, because she knows everything, and to this day, has never done anything wrong, or been at fault, when something was done wrong! But that's just around us, she is too shy to speak to a stranger, still will whisper to my wife what she wants to say to my in laws that live across the street, and have her ask, because too shy to talk to them. Almost had full blown panic attack on way to school one morning, because she had to give a speech in front of class!! I could go on, but we're here for coins right? Forgive my ignorance on this matter, but I just left my grandfather's house, he'd told my mom he had something for me. He just gave me 3 rolls of pennies, from when he worked at bank, that he can't remember who asked or why, but told him to get these 3 rolls for em, but never came to get em. All 3 have 1977 P's on one end, with memorial at the other end. He kept saying, he couldn't remember if they were all the same dates, but do they even come packaged all 1977 P's like that? I'm trying to figure out if I should Crack em open or what to do with em? Said he was looking through one of his dresser drawers for something else, found these 3, couldn't remember who or why they asked him to get em, while he was still working at bank!

Sorry to change the subject on everyone but this is eating at me, it can't be a coincidence that all 3 have 77 P's on one end, but are they full of 77 Ps? Can't find any errors on coppercoins for that one, and were they even available packaged all same year and mint?

They look like OBW rolls by the old paper wrappers . they can very well be all 77-P cents in uncirculated condition .

CCB420, those pennies I sent her were from when I started collecting with my Father when I was about 7 yrs old. I loved when my Father came home from school everyday. In his hands were the coin deposits from the school. Each and everyday we would go through the coins and look for good pennies and tried to make a penny collection complete. I enjoyed collecting at that age and never stopped. I guess the best part of the hobby was I spent more time with my Father together. My Father was the Principal of the Elementary school in our small town. Let your niece know that now is the time for her to continue my collection which I started 64 years ago. I am happy to know a young collector will pick up where my dear Father and I left off. There are a lot of memories with those pennies.Tell her I wish her best of luck in collecting. Thanks.

Thanks Saturn, and wow, that's amazing! The fact you let those pennies out of your collection says even more! She's not with her cousin after all, she's at the house, but of course I hafta work today, but I can't wait to show her now! And tell her the story! That's awesome and quite moving!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

And that one woody, think it was maybe 1918D, is sweet! I know she's gonna love that one! That one is probably one of the neatest woody I've had in hand for sure, but maybe that I have ever seen! I know yall are getting frustrated with me, not posting pics yet, but I have so much going on with work, with family members, and just life in general I have very lil free time! All my recent posts have been while driving mostly, as that is about all time I have available

Literally just hot home from work, but T-Bop, what should I do with em, and yea that one roll that was already torn, just a lil, I went ahead and pulled the first 4, all 77 p and looked pretty clean, maybe a small ding here and there, buy color was vivid, past the ender! So next question, do I open em? What kind of value difference we looking at, between opened vs unopened? Or is there any? It would be quite difficult to let em go, but after what Saturn said earlier.....well maybe I should

Crazy, he's literally been keeping these 3 rolls since 77 in his underwear drawer, for someone that never came back

what if in one roll they were all 1977 in beautiful shape. MS 64 would bring about $15.00.Wow. Curiosity always is a test for a true coin collector lol.

The roll that you popped open go ahead and carefully remove the rest of them . Save the other two rolls intact ( don't remove paper wrapper ) and put them in Nickel plastic tubes . Salt those 2 rolls away and give them to Kennedy when she's about 25 . Go through the opened roll ,pick out the best red ones with little to no issues and holder them . If you think you have some gems show us some photos and we can advise you yay or nay to send them in for grading .
