Hi, I was going through some coins I was going to take to the bank and saw this funky dime. I think it's a 2019. It doesn't look like wear because the center of the coin is clear. Any help would be appreciated

to the CCF!

This doesn't look like an error. I think the coin's surfaces have been sanded or abraded away. It could have been intentional or it could have been trapped in a rotational device. Dryer Coin?

If you can get a weight on the coin, I think you'll find that it is less than the specified weight of 2.27 grams.

Has to be an error of some sort as the rims are missing. Looks like it has been ground down.

The dime has been in a bag of coins in a drawer for over a year. I don't know where it came from...just looked funky so I thought I should check. Should I pursue any additional info on it?
Thanks for the help.

Definitely looks like it spent time on a buffing wheel/ sander.

Some sort of PMD, not an error.
