1955 Y. Penny - Minor Die Clash Both Sides.

I am nearing the end of re-housing my Aust, Penny collection into more suitable folders, and I spotted two consecutive Perth Mint pennies with minor die clashes. This one is the 1955 Y. (and no, it wasn't struck with the more scarce Perth obverse die.


1955-Y.-Penny----Minor-Die-Clash-Both-Sides.

The obverse die has left a mark over the 1 and 9 of the date. This came from the nape of the neck.

The reverse die has left two marks under QEII's chin. These have come from the front paw.
