I found this 1846 seated liberty half in the "junk box" at my coin dealer and bought it because I noticed something was off on the 4 and 6. I'm not sure, but it looks like an 1846 over horizontal 6 to me, only it is a New Orleans mint. Any opinions?

Hi,
I checked out the photo, and think it would be good to see a little more of the date if possible.
After comparing to 6/horizontal 6, I don't think it's that due to details and because it's a different mint. What I see inside the 6 could be a repunched digit.

I recently figured out how to take great close up pictures, partly due to the fact that my mom has a digital Leica (my rangefinder M4-P doesn't really connect to my computer ), so I'll try to post some picture of the whole coin when I get home from school today.
