I don't have the 2020 10th Edition of Canadian Colonial Tokens. I was hoping someone could have a look at theirs and tell me if the NS-1D2a plain edge appears in that catalogue or if it was first catalogued in the 2022 11th edition. Thanks.
Sorry, I don't have the early editions. Ingram & Marelic's 2008 edition of The Provincial Penny and Half Penny Tokens of Nova Scotia, The Thistle Series has no mention of a plain edge.

@Makitag: The variety NS-1D2a first appeared in the 9th edition of the catalog (2015), and the variety NS-1D3a first appeared in the current edition.
I'm sorry if my English isn't perfect... I'm learning a little more every day.
It's in the 10th edition. The plain edge coin looks to have a seam around the edge. Cast copies of NS-1D are noted in the book. Could be why it's not engrailed.
This one is legit. It is actually quite a nice example. That line that you see is only in that one spot on the rim - my guess is that there was a slight misalignment of the dies.
