This coin is among a cache of Morgans I sent for auction this month. Although worn and nothing fancy, it's now the one I most regret selling. I'd call it back if I could.

Just seems to be an ideal low-grade specimen.

What say you?

quite a disparity between obv and rev. i'd call obv VG10 rev the wings are saying VG8 but the wear everywhere else says G4.

I'm going to net this one VG8 giving the nod to the obv

I think the reverse holds this back to a G-06.

Lack of reverse rims holds this to G-04.

Yep, the reverse holds it back, but it results in a pretty striking obverse in a G06 holder, if you ask me.

So the "complete reverse rim" qualification that typically applies to G-06 coins does not extend to Morgans?

I agree, Good. The reverse is showing more circulation wear than the obverse. Hopefully you got a good price selling it.
