Russia1981 Valued Member United States 150 Posts	Posted 04/03/2009 01:31 am Seems easier to me than American grading system, I have few rolls of unc and up Mercury dimes and for five month I have brain storms trying to grade them MS60,62,64,65,66....FB... Different TPGs will give you different grades on the same coin so I would not lose any sleep over it. I think you are better off sticking with slightly wider bands as nuggethill suggests, than trying to pin point the exact number on the American scale. Even if you do others will disagree. triton New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 05/13/2009 11:12 pm Both of the coins you pictured were struck at the San Francisco branch of the US Mint. The mint mark on the florin is fairly high and straddles the boundary of the exergue. I do not know if the F44F shows as much variation as the F42F. I only have one specimen of the '44.
