wilsonwu89 Pillar of the Community Canada 715 Posts	Posted 12/13/2023 02:49 am Is there a way to shut them down before somebody gets hosed with fake coins? https://www.ebay.com/itm/364627373998 The listing just rings alarm bells for me. I also googled the exact phrasing of the words listed in the description of the ad and its copied and pasted from some sketchy Russian website that directly sells counterfeits. https://shopifys.ru/product/186167367128 DO NOT CLICK LINK, BUT JUST FOR REFERENCE I direct messaged them for photos of the actual coin to make sure theyre not fake and they responded that I should buy from a legitimate dealer if I am wary and that their coins are ungraded and uncertified...as if that absolves them from selling counterfeits. And yes I am the person who first discovered the counterfeit cameltoe toonies. When I have that tingling feeling, I'm usually right.
