4/2: A lunch time trip that was almost a bust. I found the quarter in the grass on the way back to the car.

4/8: Found a new park to visit during lunch. It takes a few minutes to get there using us some of the search time, but as soon as I stepped off the concrete the beeping started. Hit the $25 clad mark on this trip.

4/10: I was excited to return to the new park as I had left with plenty of area undiscovered. Not as productive but I have a start to my rail road spike collection.

It sure doesn't take long to add up. Just have to get out and look. I don't have as much time for it now as I would like. Sounds like it's getting in your blood. Good Hunting.

With Richards success on the soccer fields my last two trips have been to a park complex that has a total of 19 fields. I haven't even completed half of one side of a field.

With my trips limited to 30-45 minutes and working on my grass technique things are a bit slow. But I have managed to pop a few coins with a screwdriver.

With my detector I am able to narrow down the search area to about a 3" circle. I then use a pin-pointer to get closer, before probing with the screwdriver.
