zakota Valued Member United States 342 Posts	Posted 04/16/2009 8:37 pm Can any one help me find out about these four coins? They are gold. They do not have the gold purity on them. But they truly are gold. SOLID! The biggest ones are 39x3mm. The two smaller ones are 35x3mm. I do not have anything to weight them. At that size they should be a few ounces, correct? biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 04/17/2009 3:24 pm The Alaska trade token was released to celebrate statehood in 1959 and I have one of them. That one is actually plated with Alaska gold, I have an original envelope with the info so I will have to try and find that. The others may be gold plated as well but definitely not solid gold or even a refinable amount. Report this Post to the Staff
