Yeah, XF-40 was a stretch for me and certainly not a 45! People do have to keep in mind the three different levels of grading these. One standard for the type 1's, another for type 2 from 1917-1924 and yet another standard for the 1925-1930 issues.

And now it seems the 4th standard - NGC's Standard . Although I do consider the label was in error as BH1964 stated.
