Much better images.
Sure looks like a doubled ear from way down here in Fl.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

You should look for more in your area.

So curiosity got the best of me and opened up the second roll of uncirculated 2024 Lincoln Shield Cents, that I was able to get on the same day of the first discovery.

I Found 8 more out of the 50 of the same variety!
With the one I missed after a new inspection from the 1st roll, that's 16 total for just the two rolls out of 100 pennies.
At closer inspection, I can see what appears to be a 3rd lobe mirroring the larger lobe. This 3rd lobe has marking that look to be machine generated. The larger secondary lobe, can be easily see with the naked eye and without loop assistance..

My plan is to bring one to a coin shop that has a good macro microscope. There's one local. I should be able to determine what minting issue has irregularly occurred on all 16 of theses afterwards.
I'll post an update soon.

By the way. All I heard at Coneca after posting, was the sound chirping crickets

There's more to these than meets the eye mi compadres!

Thanks again everyone!

Talk to you soon,

COL CH

Is that normal to find so many in just 2 rolls?

That's a pretty big doubled ear does look similar to that of 2018 d in characteristics. Interesting to see a listing for it.
I'm gonna post a 2024 DDR that was found by a friend.

It depends how many machines were running at any one time. I've found as many as 15 of the same variety or error in the same OBW roll. And as many as 8 different in the same roll.

Liberty is just Machine Doubling. The ear looks good as a doubled die.

, first of all. I think you have a couple of nice Dad's.
I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I've come across quite a few 2024's and for the most part, they look like disasters and garbage already. I haven't found one without damage yet. Nice find ColCoinHntr.
