In addition to the coin boards for the silver coins of the classic-era US commemorative coin series, Wayte Raymond also published a board for the gold coins of the series - minus the two Gold $50 Panama-Pacific International Exposition coins.
The board features 11 wells, one for each of the commemorative Gold Dollars and Gold Quarter Eagles issued. (Ever wonder why the classic-era US gold commemorative coins are often collected as an 11-piece set? The cost of the two Quintuple Eagles is certainly one reason, another is the coin board published by Wayte Raymond. With the limited number of gold coins in the series, Raymond had no need to create a multi-board Commemorative Gold Coins - Complete Set and a separate Commemorative Gold Coins - Type Set board for the nine type coins.)
Just the one board was published for the gold coins (if the series had produced two to four additional Dollar and/or Quarter Eagle pieces, the board would likely have been able to handle them with a rearranged layout.)
The board is not encountered in the marketplace as often as the silver coin boards, owing to fewer being produced in parallel with the lesser contemporary collector demand for the more expensive gold coins.
