Odd 1937 Buffalo Nickel Copper Colored

tarnold New Member United States 18 Posts	Posted 07/31/2024 5:40 pm This was in a bunch of loose nickels and stood out like a sore thumb. I've pictured it next to another Buffalo nickel. I realize it is dirty. Is this likely a fake or maybe its been discolored uniformly? I know it is unlikely it was stamped on a penny planchet, but it does look a lot like it. Is there a safe and easy way to clean it without damaging it to see if the color is from dirt? Report this Post to the Staff
