The tiebreaker will go like this.
I will post a random coin image and it will have a random value assigned to it (determined and known only to me at the time of posting).
I will reveal the results when the second guess is made.
The tiebreaker is worth five points to the winner.
The reason for a random value is that the first guesser has a disadvantage to the second guesser. PLS guesses $44, Nod feels it is low and guesses $45.
Make sense?
Any objections?

Random over what range? 1-10? 1-100?

To be determined when I post the round! I actually just discovered something that might be more fun, yet still coin related. Should we proceed with the random value or what's behind door number two?

Hey, One-Fingered Eagle's Foot ... I've had several meals at that steakhouse - Teton Steakhouse, right? - and it's excellent. The antlers are a little gaudy. But the whole experience - although quickly turning me into a pauper - has been fun, and the critiques and camaraderie at the conference have been priceless.
I'll be on the road Sunday and probably most if not all Monday, so you may not hear from me until Tuesday when I get home.
I don't care how the tiebreaker is created, as long as I have fun with it!

Yeah, I vote for door #2, 3, whatever. I'm still having fun and will probably be home for sure Monday evening but won't try to catch up with things until Tuesday.

Door Number two it is...
I will be using the Coin Flipper at Random.org to break the tie!
I will be flipping nine coins and display them in a 3x3 grid.
Each contestant will guess the results in this format:
Heads Tails Heads
Tails Heads Tails
Heads Tails Heads The one with the most correct choices in the correct position will win.
As a tiebreaker for the tiebreaker, guess which of the eighteen US coins I used to generate the results. The closest one to the actual coin (based on the list order) will win the tiebreaker tiebreaker!
Sound like fun?
Let the battle begin!

Okay, I'm back home and more or less rested. I read jbuck's post; I have no concept of what he's setting up here, but it looks like fun so I'll play. It's ON, nod2003, even though I feel like a blindfolded piņata batter at this point. I don't even know at this point if jbuck is setting up a link in his post, or he'll be linking to the game and setting it up here. I'll figure it out.
On the other hand, I'm becoming convinced that jbuck graduated from Evil U. ...

PLS, the tiebreaker is on now! Go ahead and make your guess like Nod did. To break a tiebreaker tie, guess which coin I used on the list below to make the flips: If you want to play with the coin-flipper, here is the link: http://random.org/coins

I'm not sure this is for every one or just the two winners, but I'm going to guess anyway. I want to enjoy the fun!

Yes, it is only for PLS and Nod to determine the winner, but all are welcome to make a guess for fun!
However, I will reveal the results as soon as PLS makes posts his answers.
