Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6398 Posts	Posted 05/05/2009 12:04 pm In my experience the '27-S comes with a soft strike and therefore has a relaxed grading standard compared to most SLQ dates. I think this one could go VG-10 or F-12 at a grading service. It looks nice and original. Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6398 Posts	Posted 05/22/2009 12:52 am For comparison, here is a coin I've posted before. This one is graded by ANACS as VF-30. Most CCF graders had it pegged at about F-15. If my coin is fairly graded at VF-30 Biokemist's example likely has a shot at F-12. Report this Post to the Staff
