The best that I have ever had was a half dollar roll that contained 18 40% and 2 clad. I am still waiting for a big score.

After I got back into the hobby about 2009, I found at least one dozen random solid silver rolls of halves in 2 or 3 years.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

I found a full roll of silver quarters in 1963.

Doesn't count, but the best I came across was about half a customer wrapped roll of silver quarters not all that long ago.

Just today! Driving from Philly to north GA so stopped at a bank in SW VA as they opened up. $150 of dimes, $100 were MWR (gave up a solitary 1943 S merc which was great on its own). The last CWR was in a different wrapper and sure enough, here's what was on the ends    And in the middle? 23 Rosies (mostly 1946 and 1947 of various mints with some 1948-50 and 1957), plus 27 mercs!  Mercs range from 1927-1945, mostly 1940s dates and mints. This fills a few holes in the album and puts a bunch of silver in the jar for 2025. |
