Quote: The best that I have ever had was a half dollar roll that contained 18 40% and 2 clad. Very nice! Quote: I am still waiting for a big score.

After I got back into the hobby about 2009, I found at least one dozen random solid silver rolls of halves in 2 or 3 years.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors... Roll hunting since '77 Dirt fishing since '72

Doesn't count, but the best I came across was about half a customer wrapped roll of silver quarters not all that long ago.

Just today! Driving from Philly to north GA so stopped at a bank in SW VA as they opened up. $150 of dimes, $100 were MWR (gave up a solitary 1943 S merc which was great on its own). The last CWR was in a different wrapper and sure enough, here's what was on the ends And in the middle? 23 Rosies (mostly 1946 and 1947 of various mints with some 1948-50 and 1957), plus 27 mercs! Mercs range from 1927-1945, mostly 1940s dates and mints. This fills a few holes in the album and puts a bunch of silver in the jar for 2025.

Actually yes! Out of the multiple years, I've casually coin roll hunted, ONE half-dollar roll I got was nothing but <1965 Kennedy half dollars. It was when I was living in a small town in Ohio and the local Huntington had tons of customer-wrapped rolls. I was still in my early 20s and pretty strapped for cash so could only exchange a couple of rolls at a time. I went back to that same bank at least 6 or 7 times exchanging for the rolls, going to a bank across the street to turn them in and repeat. By the 6th time, the teller was getting visibly mad that I kept coming back for more half rolls and even said as she was walking to the vault "This is just ridiculous." It put a pretty sour taste in my mouth because I thought I was being nice, the other workers though were all nice and apologetic, but I guess making someone do their job in a tiny town and taking coins that will never move on their own off their hands can be too much sometimes, lol. That day is easily still one of my highest scores of silver in one day. It's been years but I want to say overall I ended the day with 3 or 4 full rolls of 90% and 40% silver, a nice addition to the collection for a low-budget young collector!
