Here's a couple I got at a bargain price quite a while back. I offer these up for your opinion. Would like to know how close I come.

My opinions:

1825 Half Cent: VF-30 details, corroded (metal detector find?).

1833 Half Cent: VF-20, possibly cleaned, but no porosity.

1858 Flying Eagle cent: VF-20 (looks pretty original).

1853 arrows Half Dime: VF-25 (looks pretty original).

I always appreciate a bargain. What kind of price did you pay?

Metal detector find maybe...I don't know. I paid a quarter apiece for these....around 1977.

My absolute best bargain was when I was about 7 years old(9 years ago) when I was in upstate New york and bought two Peace dollars for 2 dollars a piece. I have them still today and one was a 1928 S. They are what got me started.
Rest in Peace

Agreed with Jaobler on the grades, except the first Half Cent. I'd go maybe XF/XF + corroded, looks to have a lot of original details left.

Wow...not bad at all for all of $1.
The first coin looks buried at one point.
I'll only grade what I know...I'd say the FE is F-15 to VF20 too, I think the photo hides some detail.
Very nice!
