I get it Coinfrog. My lighting is deceptive as I stated. In hand,appears natural not messed with. Very dark brown, acetone bath and conservation efforts perhaps. Wish my pics were better.

Certainly don't see any ED here. Only concern was perhaps an old cleaning, but don't feel strongly about this.

I'm at F12, cleaned reverse, porous/corroded obverse.

Doesn't look too terrible. Looks like it probably came out of the ground.

F details. I think the planchet already had the porosity prior to striking or improper storage over years
