I found this one in a group a local collector didn't want to look through, although he did sort them by year while watching football! (Thank you.)
The obverse fingerprint is a little distracting, but I won't complain seeing as how it only cost me face value.
It's at LDS to VLDS with flow lines and die wear so the marker were a little difficult to see. Compare the NW-SE die flow lines around the date to the VV images to see the matching markers.
It's not a monster DDO by any stretch (the foot of the 2) and some have questioned why it even has an FS #. I'm guessing the authors were looking to fill the CPG with varieties and since 1972 did have some nice DDO's, (they must have had one for images) it filled a spot in the book.
Enjoy and thanks for looking.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
Nice one Pete's! I have 3 of these I found over a year ago. At the time I couldn't figure out which attributions I actually had. Time to go through them again, and figure it out.
