1960 D Washington Quarter Maybe A Doubled Die Obverse / DDO ?

Decaf94drew Valued Member United States 397 Posts	Posted 12/28/2025 01:31 am Looks like true doubling to me but doesn't match ddo-001 on V.V and couldnt find anything listed on wexlers for it what are your thoughts? Doubling shows on liberty, not seeing any doubling on IN or TR in igwt and the mint mark looks incorrect for V.V listing in my opinion. Here are some better images not by much ( this phone is horrible with photos) Forehead diecrack and lower bust diecrack above 9 in 1960 No die crack on the reverse and no die break on the wing under I in UNITED, there are however die polish marks all in the area of the q in QUARTER Report this Post to the Staff

Notice the concentric die scratches that run through the top of the E in LIBERTY, on both sides of the E. Look at the scratch leaving the bottom of the upper bar of the E, curving towards the R.
