In 2019 for the great American coin hunt, the United States Mint made 2 million of each of the 5 quarter designs at Westpoint Mint with the "W" mint mark.

Nice find - W quarters have a premium to their face value (how much depends on the condition) So it is a collectible coin.

Very cool coin. A lot of people have come across various W mint quarters in roll searching.

On another note, what's up with so many different mintages across the ATB series?

Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco "circulation" S mint marks, S clad proofs,
S silver proofs, and finally, West Point mint mark coins.
What the? Why lol

Any West Point mint (W) quarter is a fun circulation find. While not valuable they are worth keeping IMO.

good score! yesterday I searched $120 in quarters, or 12 rolls. the only things worth mentioning were two bicentennial quarters and three 2015-P nebraska homesteads, though none of them were DDRs... phooey... I was really hoping to pick at least a W quarter.

you finding a san antonio W gives me hope, they are still out there in the wild, waiting to be found. circulated examples aren't very valuable, but still fun to find.

I had no clue Bicentennial Quarters had become that scarce in circulation, MrPink2018! Only 2 out of 120, it's probably the most massively hoarded design in a lifetime.

i find them frequently enough, I guess, Vector, but you're right, only finding 2 of those out of $120 in quarters is kind of low to me. I thought for sure I would have picked at least one W from that many quarters, but alas...

I'm glad the Ws are still being found.

Looking back, I see I omitted the dollar sign. Read what I mean, not what I say, heh!

Cool find! I've never come across one in change, but I don't spend a lot of cash these days and haven't done CRH since before these were released into the wild.
