yep Fantastic is right, However, I have a medication to continue to fight this bacteria that will make ne very sensitive to sunlight so I have to keep 100 % covered up when outside, also it can damage permanently my achilleas tendons - so then means limited walking, no running, no exercise that involved the tendons, AND no HORSE riding either

Glad to hear you're back home. Maybe you can get some good rest without the nurses coming in all the time making their rounds.

Quote: also it can damage permanently my achilleas tendons Sounds like the docs are having you take ciprofloxacin (or a related quinolones antibiotic). Be very careful with paying attention to how your achilles tendons feel and talk to your doctors if you start having problems. I have friends who are now suffering from irreversible life long damage from the side effects. When my elbow was badly infected I refused that entire class of antibiotics and insisted the docs try other approaches. I hope it works out for you.

thanks Nickelsearcher - I'm aware of all that, which is why I'm not going horseback riding for a while. Thank you Hokie and fortcollins - I'm taking it very easy for a while.

Hi Dearborn. Wishing you a speedy recovery. You can try this supplement which many have felt works well for utis https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TD7HTKThe d-mannose also in there can help. in the urinary tract, D-mannose can attach to E. coli bacteria that may be there. As a result, the bacteria can no longer attach to cells and cause lnfection.
