Am looking at Downies as one of the safe places to buy recent minted Australia coins. Am new to buying recent coins.

Noticed Downies has a lot of coins for sale that go back into the teens years of coin releases. There looks like a vast collection of coins that did not sell for over 10 years some of them since minting. Many coins around 5 years old. Many, many coins in very recent coins are marked at Downies as sold out of stock.

The Australia mints are a safe place also to buy from and know that their coins are good. ebay is frightening on how to decern if a coin is a fake or not.

Do not know of anywhere else to buy real minted coins other than the mint & Downies.

Is there anywhere else that the coin sellers can be trusted?

For modern (very recent) coins, pretty much any coin dealer can be "trusted" to sell genuine coins, since most of their stock is going to be stuff the dealer ordered from the mint.
