Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6386 Posts	Posted 08/01/2009 9:00 pm Looks MS-64 with a shot at MS-65 based on these photos and presuming you are correct that the scratch under the chin is not on the coin. If the coin is in a holder of some sort the holder is darn near invisible! I am puzzled by the large darker area in front of Miss Liberty's ear. Is it just a shadow? In this image it almost looks like a large shallow dent. The front of the ear and the hair above the ear border this area and they appear flattened. That effect could be caused by a typical soft New Orleans strike. How do you see it, Whitman? Report this Post to the Staff
