Because of the flatness of the right leg, I would grade this F-12. However, I'm not a pro at this so wait for another opinion.

I'm going to say that it would grade VF-25.

I was thinking more along the lines of an XF-40. Maybe 35, but close to XF in my opinion. Very nice coin.

This is a very solid VF coin IMO, probably a lock for VF-30. For it to be considered for EF I would want to see better detail in the beading along the obverse rim. The color is a bit dark but that could be original. The light scratches on the reverse should not be a problem at the VF grade level.

Very decent coin, definitely worth more than melt!

I would call it a VF-35 but if it has some luster left, it may possibly make EF-40.
It has a very nice eye appeal IMO
Rest in Peace

I think I see some subdued/toned luster around the stars and lettering on the bottom of the reverse.

Nice coin.

Would love to see better pics. So is there good luster? I think that coin is at EF40 or 45.

The beading on the shield is consistent with AU coins. The wear on the eagle's probably holds it back from AU.

Rest in Peace

Great pictures Yotie! This solidifies the coin as an XF in my opinion, and a solid one at that, at least according to how I've seen them TPG graded. I don't think a 45 is completely out of the question either.

I like the date too. Here is the example in my type set. I purchased as a raw AU several years ago.
