to CCF macintoshse!

I agree these are F/VF dimes and are good examples of what is often referred to as "junk silver".

No offense is intended at all calling this junk, I just wanted to let you know. FYI: Junk Silver is pre-1965 U.S. silver coinage (dimes, quarters, halves) that are valued on their silver content alone and not on numismatic qualities. Silver dollars have greater silver content than fractional coinage and are priced higher regardless of condition.

I noticed one of the coins was graded by a CCF member as F12 Cleaned while another was VF20. Normally a cleaned coin is a not desirable and a VF20 problem free coin would be worth much more, all else being equal. In this case however, it makes no difference because all are common date pieces.

Sorry to get long-winded but I had a few minutes to spare.
