New here so I figured I start by showing off one of my favourite items in my collection.
This is a 1996 toonie struck on a full nickel planchet. I've heard of other theories on these beings "tests" "backdoor jobs" or "foreign planchets" but in my opinion all of the evidence points towards these being genuine unpunched toonie planchets due to the composition size and that the other few examples I've been able to track down were found in bank rolls discrediting the "trial strike" and "backdoor jobs" theories.
Finding credible information on these considering none have come to auction and very few people have talked about them has been slow so feel free to chime in with any information you may have about these.
