I bought this coin when I was looking for large MAD errors. It's graded as an AU-50 with a 4% obverse die misalignment. I've seen coins with much larger misalignments but didn't have the funds to buy them. (I'm looking for an image of the coin in the slab, but it may be on an older dead laptop.)

Nice photos. The coin shows the error quite well.

How misaligned can a single face MAD really get? The die is still moving within the confines of the press. It's not like an off center strike where the planchet is just in the wrong place between the hammer and anvil.
