Here's a 1976 Ike from a Bicentennial Proof Set (40% silver). I was never a big Ike dollar fan but the cameo silver proofs do look good.

Quote: How's this one? I found it on a soccer field while I was metal detecting, I guess a Ref used it as a Toss coin. Excellent! Great looking Eisenhower dollars, guys. Keep them coming!

It's hard to find really great Ikes. There are a lot of ugly uncirculated and proof Ikes. I have a complete set of uncirculated and proofs that I would to upgrade, but I can't find real perty Ikes.
On the flip side, as to that 74, it's pretty cool as I've never seen an Ike so worn.

One of the darn near impossible to find "Not beat to death from the mint" 71 Blue Pack Ikes. Took me quite awhile to find one that was not all bag marked.

"My father kept 2 rolls of '71-D's." Scotty, Something to check for on your 71-D's is what is called the Friendly Eagle Variety (FEV)or Reverse Die Variety 006 (RDV-006) Here is a link to the Ike Groups page on the variety. It has a very unique reverse on it. Very important coin in the series In my humble opinion I hope you find one in the group.Edit: And There are an whole lot of things to look for on that 71-S also. Look around the Ike Group web site you will find a whole world of information on Eisenhower dollars. http://ikegroup.org/FEV.htmhttp://ikegroup.orgStewart
