I recently bought about 150 wheats and while I was searching through them, I found a copper 1943-S that looked to be AU. If I wasn't so excited, I probably would have realized it was copper plated, as I had read how to spot a fake. I remember running around for 30 minutes trying to find anything magnetic and my disappointment when it stuck to the magnet. Oh well, it was a good experience. I can't find it right now, but if I do I'll post pics.

Umm, a genuine copper 1943 cent wouldn't stick to a magnet; a copper-plated steel cent would.

Sap and Ratman, you two beat me to it; I was busy searching for a bookmark that would tell me how to quote text in here! But you both made the point I wanted to also make! Now I am very interested in this thread!

Sorry, I meant when it stuck to the magnet. Sorry for the confusion.
