Good things come to those that wait. LOL. Five weeks to put them in a box and label it. Thats a week per "TV"mm coin. They don't strain themselves, do they.

I received a return email from the mint today, 2 months after I emailed them, 3 months after placing my order. Took their time, if I hadn't received them (the coins) by now I'd be up there knocking on their door!

Anyone know what they're selling for now? I have some extras that I would like to get rid of and was wondering what the best way would be?

Hi Shatsi, I haven't seen any for sale yet, have you checked e-bay? I checked the RAM and they are sold out, so there should be some increase in the price. Steve

Hi Shatsi, I've seen a few on ebay. They seem to be going for about $3-$3.50 each. However, I remember when they first came out the prices on ebay were more like $6. Personally, I'm going to keep my ones for awhile. I've got a couple of TV mintmark ones and a C mintmark one. Melissa

They are not particularly rare....it was the hype of a limited mintage that pushed up the price. You will find however dealers will have few of them in their hands. This will therefore keep the price up in catalogues like Maccas or Renniks

Hi Shatsi, I've seen them selling on ebay regularly for around six to twelve dollars each, depending on the bidding frenzy. I've seen them at the buy-it-now price of about ten dollars each. They've even gone for about fifteen dollars sometimes! You would probably get quite a good price for them on ebay if you do decide to sell them. Snooba.

Thanks, I think I'll list them at BIN price since I have more than one.

There are B, M S, B and TV that cost $A2.75 from the RAM. Then there are the B, M and S that were done on the portable presses at the respective agricultural shows. The portable press, or 'Mint Your Own' (MYO) also cost $2.75. The RAM coins can be picked up close to purchase price (say) $A4 to $A6. The MYO would be somewhere up to (say) $A10. And then I could sell you my TV dollar without a mintmark for somewhere over $1000. It somehow snuck past the press operator without being stamped. Actually I have two without a mm. But neither are for sale. Apart from those 2, what do you need? I have a few spares. Happy to swap. I also have a sad story regarding the S MYO mintmark. I went to Sydney to get a few (a 600km round trip and an expensive overnight stay in barely adequate accommodation). When I came back, I put them all in 2x2s, and took them to the coin club and sold them to members at $3 each. $3 because I couldn't be bothered providing 10 cents change. A fellow has to make some profit Anyhow, one fellow asked if he could have one. He apologised for not letting me know he would want one. No problemo. Take as many as you like. "No", he said, "I'll take that one". Five minutes later I'm told that 'that one' had two mintmarks on it. Top and bottom. I advised him that the whole purpose of the exercise was to bring the coins in on the night and provide an opportunity for other club members to get a MYO at cost. He wouldn't return it. He did offer to sell it back to me for $300. Nice bloke It was my fault. I sold it to him, but I'm still annoyed at both him and myself. I always double check my MYO coins. That's why I was so happy to find the no mms. I aslo found one that had the "M" mm a millimeter or so higher than where it should be. Small distance but very noticeable.
