Yass Pillar of the Community Australia 652 Posts	Posted 11/08/2006 9:15 pm That's the standard packaging that the non circulating legal tender coins come in. The packaging can be folded into three. Unfortunately the parents who buy them for their kids, promptly see that happen. I prefer to keep all mine unfolded. The latest, the coloured coins and year of the porker (pig) come in a hard cardboard. Same size, but the coin is in a capsule. Report this Post to the Staff

The Smithy $1s packaging has different colours for the various mintmarks. Others, like the Parkes simply have a different label. All MYO coins have exactly the same packaging as the RAM bought coins. Check out the $1 coins on cruzi's site. http://www.cruzis-coins.com/ There are two that stand out from this form of packaging, the Vietnam Veteran's $1 and the Victoria Cross (approx $A45 and $A220 respectively) Report this Post to the Staff
