I bid and won on a Peace dollar 2 weeks ago and I won it for a exellent price. Only problem is I haven't received it and the seller will not reply to my e-mails. I did check his feedback as I always do before I bid and he has only -8 out of 5300 left. And I bought another from him a week before that with no problem. I just took the time to go back and read all the negitives he has and they all were left from people who didn't receive there coin because they thought they had won it to cheap. He does not return there money either. It was less than $25, so ebay wont do anything but the usual send him a warning. Will PayPal refund the money if I never get the coin? Dang! I hate weasels.

I just got burned too... about 12 bucks. The seller is also legit but it appears he has given up on ebay, he went from very busy to no auctions. I would tell pay pal that you never got the item, they may have the stupid $25 dollar rule as well but try. Ok what is a Peace dollar if you do not mind me asking? They are silver right... what is the silver content 1922. I see a nice lot of dollars and I think they are a steal but I won't bid unless I know more?

I don't buy unless they have a good picture of the front and back of each coin. I feel like they are trying to hide something when they have the coins set up like that in the picture.

Christina, that wasen't the coin. I just put that one up so Sid could see what a Peace dollar was. The one I won was a MS64 and he had very clear pictures. I guess the $16 wasen't enough for him.

What do you guys think about these Peace dollars, not great shape but I have become addicted to buying silver and it would be nice to add some Peace dollars to my collection...
Sid, auctions like that to me would be melt value only. you might find a couple collectable in the whole bunch. But if your just wanting silver and can get them cheap,go for it.remember each is .900 silver .100 copper.

The only way I pay on ebay is via Pay Pal with a credit card. This way if the seller stiffs me, I have the protection of my credit card company. Only needed to use it once, and the credit card company gave me no hassle at all.

Peace dollar was made after the war starting in 1921, the 1921 was only made about half a year with morgans being minted the other half that is why the 1921 Peace dollars are so high
