My wife got me a few JFK Silver Proofs for Christmas, They are beautiful. My question is "Is there an easy way to tell the difference between a regular clad JFK proof and a Silver JFK proof".

Thank You,
WBB

Visually. Silver proofs (as well as any 90%) do not have a copper layer like the one that is visible on a Clad when viewing the edge of the coin.

And if you can't see the edge just lay a single layer of tissue paper over them. A silver proof will look white through the tissue and a clad will look a dull or dark gray.
