What did you think of the size of the field on the Obverse! I think it's big enough to play baseball in! As I said in an earlier post, real 70's should be tough because little scratchman has nowhere to hide!!!!![:p]

There certainly is a lot of "field" on this new Buffalo. It will be hard to find the true gems.

What does everyone think of the new Buffalo quarters? Looks like we may end up with a few more before it is all said and done.

Well...I'm one that can't see how there can ever be a real MS or PF 70...I just don't see how it can happen....
There are not alot of nicks I don't think but then they are still in the roll where they will stay.

Has the new quarter gone to banks yet?

Don't believe the Kansas quarter has even been minted yet (for release to the Federal Reserve) as it is the fourth design to come out this year. Look for it around August or September.

Well, one thing the big wide open field may do is encourage the engravers of the world to come out with lots of custom obverse's. It might be fun! Mike

Kansas will be out late in the year. They only minted enough for the mint and proof sets so far. (or at least that is what they tell us).

I can see a 10 year complete set coming at the end of this from the Mint. Mark my words folks, they have these laying around some vault and just tell us that they are melting them.

Haven't located an MS70 yet but can guarantee you there will be PR70 buffalos for sale. I have now accumulated 40 of them, and for the most part, most are VERY VERY high grade! That big open space on a proof is absolutely fantastic and I am not sure if I can quit buying the darn things or not! I do love my herd!!!
