hangokid11 New Member United States 40 Posts	Posted 06/12/2006 7:27 pm I was curious who was the woman on the Peace dollar and found out that the man who made the coin was using his wife on the Peace dollar, Anthony De Francisci used his wife, Teresa as the model. this coin was used to protray the signing of the peace treaty between Germany and United States back in 1921. I dont know why but the more I look at the Peace dollars the more I dont like it. They should have made it a two tailed coin because the eagle is alot better looking than the obverse.
