That still doesn't explain why you posted a picture blatantly ripped from Heritage Auctions...

No, not you hhbkiddo, the OP. The photo posted was ripped from a Heritage auction Jan 2, 2010 with a hammer price of $402,500

OP does imply that he was sent the fake picture himself. Benefit of the doubt time.

Man o man...let it go will ya?
Some of you guys are worse than a gaggle of blue-haired women at their weekly bridge club meeting.
Grow up will ya?
It's not like he never tried to retract what he originally posted.

just leave him alone, maybe his friend really did send him that picture. He might have just googled for a picture of a 1936 cent so he didn't have to take his own and sent him this pic not realizing its a completely different coin. We dont know for sure so just leave him alone now, its over

hi Romco,
it is great to have you on board... BUT, on how many forums have posted this same 1936 cent?
what are you trying to achieve?
are you hoping for an answer telling you your coin is worth a ton? It is NOT.
and , when I tried to email someone else when I was new, I had mu knuckles wrapped so hard...by the mod....
IMO, really think you should read and play by the rules here and stop pretending you know nothing...

Do not get too excited,I will bet 100 cents that this is not the copin your buddy is giving you.The picture you are showing is from a coin that changed hands not to long ago and your buddy would remember how much it cost. You would not get a whole bunch of other coins on top of this for $100.
Sorry to deflate the baloon.
