I have never seen this before and thought I would share with the group. It almost looks like someone spent an awful lot of time with a small grinder to get it perfectly round. Then again I may be completely wrong being I have never seen something like this. Thoughts, Opinions and Weird Smileys are welcome. Might make a good educational coin for detecting an altered coin so someone does not waste good money on one. If in fact that is what it is. I ran across it in a group of Lincoln Cents I bought for face.
