Look like a good possibilty. What I would also like to know, is if they are collectable. I know "to each his own", blah, blah, blah. But, it seems like some are posted and you get "greased filled die", no other comment. And on others you get " Grease Filled Die - nice find!".

Beauty is in the eye of the collector.I'm sure there are folks out there that collect those types.Myself, I just return them to the wild.

Something like the one above I would probably "catch and release", too. If the entire motto were gone or something like that, I would probably hang on to it. Just curious as to others thoughts.

is the shallow strike how you know its a Grease Filled Die?

Struck through error. Die filled with grease. If the strike was weak, it would have the edge of the die present with that sharpness and the deeper devices on the die would not be formed.
