Very nice, attractive surfaces, strong remaining detail, no major hits. Looks solid for VF-30. Most collectors fill this type slot with the 1837. The 1838-O is a much cooler choice IMO.

Excellent pick up!

Hmm...I assume its a piece of cardboard from the 2x2 because I just checked the coin again and I don't see the substance in question.
