Ugly Pillar of the Community Canada 1733 Posts	Posted 04/28/2010 9:20 pm www.collectible-trade.com Anyone know anything about this? when it started etc. I looked at the application to sell document (link on teh front page there) and stopped when it hit SIN and banking references... Guess I'm just not the trusting sort. I don't give up my data easily for a third party to hold. Name, address, tel and credit card should be enough for anybody. I think I find the requirement for more than that to be intrusive and dangerous in this day and age. I'm going to pass on this site. Won't stop me from buying directly from J&M though. I even hate it when stores ask me for my postal code, or telephone number because you can track someone down with any of those two pieces of data. Keep these things safe! I would assume they are concerned about the integrity of a bidder or credit arrangement. I would be more comfortable with a line on my credit card. Report this Post to the Staff

Ugly Pillar of the Community Canada 1733 Posts	Posted 05/04/2010 08:51 am I agree with Mr. Canada too many people are already putting a "soft touch" on credit reports. In Canada we have no way of locking our credit data from such touches even though we may not be credit seeking. I wish we had a law similar ot the US in that regard.
